Thanks again for letting us be a part of this great tradition by inviting us into your neighborhood for a night.
The Running of the Balls will be running in the neighborhood on Saturday December 13th from 5 - 8pm. The Running of the Balls is a nighttime 5K run/walk underneath the lighted Christmas balls that supports Second Harvest Food Bank of NW NC, a non-profit dealing with food scarcity in our area.
In order to protect our participants, vehicular traffic will be restricted into the neighborhood from Elam, Market and Friendly during the hours of 5-7:30pm. Volunteers tasked with making sure you have access to your home with a minimal amount of effort will be throughout the course.
We are working hard to make sure this race isn’t an inconvenience to you. You’re always welcome to walk around and enjoy the night with us. This is your neighborhood and we appreciate you letting us visit for an evening.
